Everyone knows the bad part in regard to COVID-19, but have you stopped for once to think about its bright side?
I did and I will tell you what has changed for me. I've never been more in touch with nature than during this time. For many days, I just took my backpack and dove into the woods, willing to hear nothing else besides nature.
OH COOL YOU WENT TO THE WOODS TELL ME MORE 🙄🙄
What should be noticed here is not the fact that I went to the woods but that quarantine forced me to do that. What should be noticed is that a big part of us has an instinct to connect with nature to improve health. Most people would never reach for this connection if they were merely stuck in their offices into the night.
The bright side of COVID-19 was being obligated to find joy in the unusual. COVID took restaurants away so you could find new trails. COVID took your suitcase away so you could fill your backpack up with new and meaningful experiences.
Maybe you haven't given yourself a chance to think about the positive changes this dark period might have brought into your life; therefore, I gotta tell you one last thing: do that next time you go for a hike.
